ABSTRACT

FUZZY LOGIC BASED AUTOMATED SEED SOWING ROBOT ANUSHA K, PRAJWAL KUMAR J, ACHUTH KUMAR V, SAHANA BR Under the Guidance of: Dr. Vijayashree R Budyal HOD, dept. of EEE COLLEGE: SRI VENKATESHWARA COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING BENGALURU. India is a country wherein we are totally dependent on agriculture. Farmers face many problems during sowing of seed like selecting the seed, checking condition of the soil, checking for the quality of seed, finding labourers for sowing the seed. Selection of seed is very vital and it depends on various parameters like temperature of the surrounding, season, pH value of the soil, moisture content of the soil, texture of soil. The distance between two seeds while sowing is different for unlike for the seeds or else the seed growth will be diminished. As the availability of the framers in the village is reducing due to migration towards the cities, we propose a project which performs the seed selection based on the fuzzy logic and sowing the se

EXPECTED OUTCOME OF THE PROJECT: •         Better selection of seed by applying the fuzzy logic for selecting the seed depending on the soil parameters. As soil parameters are uncertain, fuzzy logic concept is applied to select the seed. •         Good crop yield by sowing the seed at proper distance between the seeds for the corresponding seed selected. •         NPK level of the soil is increased by fertilizers spraying.                         Seed growth is enhanced by spraying of fertilizers and pesticides Figure Representing the single seed operation mechanism Image indicating the hopper and sprayer utilization Final project outlook APPLICATION OF THE PROJECT:    This project mainly finds its appli

PROPOSED SOLUTION: The project “Fuzzy Logic based Automated Seed Sowing Robot” proposes the use of Fuzzy Logic, where the selection of the seed takes place using fuzzy logic depending upon the parameters such as temperature, pH, and season. Based on the output of the Fuzzy Logic the seed is selected and the robot gets the selected seed information by Bluetooth. And robot automatically drives the motor to adjust the distance of sowing the seeds depending on the seed selected.   As this system uses fuzzy logic, it accepts the data which is imprecise and produces the output in a particular range therefore the probability of obtaining the expected and effective output is high. The purpose of using this system is that robot automatically starts sow

Scope / Objectives of the project: Farmers being the backbone of country face many problems while sowing the seeds like, scarcity of people for ploughing and sowing the seeds, selection of seed and distance between two seeds while sowing, spraying fertilizers etc., Currently agriculture methods adopted are traditional and it consumes time and sometimes people select wrong seed to sow. This project "Fuzzy Logic Based Automated Seed Sowing Robot " helps in overcoming some of the above problems.      The main objectives of the project are as follows:     To design and develop the fuzzy model to select the particular seed to be sown depending on the soil parameters.          To design and develop the distance of automated s

PROBLEM STATEMENT Selection of seed is very vital and it depends on various parameters like temperature of the surrounding, season, pH value of the soil, moisture content of the soil, texture of soil. The distance between two seeds while sowing is unlike for different seeds hence proper distance has to be maintained or else the seed growth will be diminished. We propose a project which performs the seed selection based on the fuzzy logic and sowing the seed with particular distance for the selected seed by using the autonomous robot which reduces the time, increases the efficiency as well reduces human interception and cost.
